ANTMINER S9, S9i, S9j, T9+ FIRMWARE GUIDE USING THE ASICBOOST TECHNOLOGY

The firmware is dedicated to accelerate the ASIC S9 to 16.5 Th/s applying the AsicBoost turbo-mode with standard 1600 W power supply units and to 20 Th/s when using immersion cooling with 2000 W power supply units. The following settings are included in addition to the proven technology:

1. Voltage adjustment per each board.

2. Clock frequency adjustment per each chip.

3. Ability to configure unstable working "red" and "yellow" chips per board.

4. Change of configuration, tuning and shutdown of incorrectly working boards

5. ASIC performance preset profile selection based on capacity of power supply unit.

6. Pool switching in online mode without the need of rebooting ASIC.

7. Fan speed control and shutdown in case of using immersion cooling.

8. ASIC reboot configuration for when hashrate drops below 'X'.

9. Pre-saving of settings in bookmarks. Allows to open new bookmark without data loss or ASIC reboot. The selected parameters are activated upon clicking 'Save'.

10. Kernel log performs without page reloading.

11. Embedded monitoring systems: Awesome Miner, Hashpuls, HiveOS.

12. Pages automatic reload.

13. Setting the maximum working temperature value.

14. Timer for ASIC self-check and reboot.

15. One-click config transfer to other devices via the config-multiplier function.

16. Built-in protection against viruses that allow attackers to get full access to your device.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

It is not allowed to use the following characters in the password: %,), =, +, â„–, #, etc. otherwise the ASIC menu will be inaccessible. Only letters and numbers are allowed.

When specifying a password using mixed characters, it is necessary to reset the settings to factory defaults using control buttons located on ASIC case. To do this you need to:

1. Turn off the ASIC and hold down the reset button. While holding, turn it on and wait

a few minutes, then release the reset button. Upon successful reset the device will be assigned with a new IP address. To find the IP address use the Advanced IP Scanner utility or another methods.

2. Turn off the ASIC and hold down both the reset and IP buttons simultaneously. While holding, turn on the device and after 60 seconds release the IP button, then, after another 60 seconds release the reset button. If ASIC received a new IP address, it has been successfully reset to factory default settings.

If none of the above actions worked, try them again.

ATTENTION!

Upon the first firmware download and after the workers setup is completed, be sure to click 'Save' and wait until ASIC to reboot.

The firmware is meant for free-of-charge distribution. It has a built-in parallel (no work interrupting in the pool) DevFee (developers commission) in the amount of 1.8% of the total hashrate.

FAQ:

After upgrading your firmware you see 404-page only.

How to make sure the DevFee is not higher then 1.8%

How to switch from Bitmain to BiXBiT firmware? ( System upgrade failed. Cannot find signature!!! )

Hi, we have already fixed this moment in the last update. Just download new version (3.8.6 or later) and install it. If this error will appear, just change server pool fee in devfee tab

You need to update your firmware using SD-card.

Hi, Hatef. You don’t need to change your own pool. I ask to change pool for devfee in the devfee tab.

Hello to all.

I test T9+ with different frequency and voltage in immersion cooling system, but sometimes reset was happen. I don't know the reason. The power is 2100watt and the oil temperature is around 40c.to 50c and it fixed.

Is there any relation between Frequency and Voltage ratio?

I just want to know about the reset reason.

And the version of Firmware is 3.8.5. Should I download 3.8.6 version?

Thanks all.

Hi, Saadat.

Seems this problem is related to the issue described above. Try updating your firmware.

BTW, we will ask you to attach log file next time, so we can have a better understanding of your problem.

I upgrade my t9+ but after that I couldn't login it seems password change.

Hi, Mantil.

The password can't be changed by itself, even after the firmware update. Try reseting settings to the factory default or try to login with the following credentials:
login: root

password: admin

or

login: root

password: root

Hi, Saadat.

Sorry for delay with answer. You can find "Kernel log" in the "System" tab. Once you get there click on the Download button located at the right corner.

Hi, Abbas.

Can you attach the log-file and screenshot from the miner status bar?

My t9+ won't allow me to access the miner status page, and I'm not seeing all of these other available pages. Am I missing something? When I click miner status, it says 404 not found.
