When some ASIC devices start operating at a loss, the default decision is usually to shut them down. In practice, this often leads to losses for both the hosting provider and their clients. This article explores a case where, instead of stopping the equipment, a flexible profile tuning approach was applied by adjusting hashrate, voltage, and power consumption.

As a result, it was possible not only to reduce losses but, in some cases, to bring devices back into profitability. The approach was not universal — different models and chip conditions required different configurations. That is what ultimately made the difference: the infrastructure remained operational, while clients gained time and predictability instead of facing forced downtime.
