APPENDIX 1. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONALITY OF BiXBiT FIRMWARE

 

APPENDIX 1.1 Boards Tab

BiXBiT Boards tab disable hash board slots

This tab allows you to disable hash board slots.

It displays the number of slots, the reason for their deactivation (if any), as well as options for automatic board shutdown in case of errors.

  • [Auto Disable Slots on Errors] – designed for automatic board shutdown. If a board fails to start after exceeding the restart attempt limit (the device reboots N times; if the board does not start, it is disabled).
  • [Recovery Reboot Counter] – counter of the number of device reboots related to board errors.
  • [Max Number of Recovery Reboots] – the number of device reboots related to board errors after which the problematic board will be disabled by software.
  • [Limit Boards Power] – disables the use of power from boards that are turned off or not functioning.

APPENDIX 1.2 Hotel Fee

BiXBiT Hotel Fee hashrate redirect settings

This function is designed to redirect a percentage of the device’s hashrate to another pool/worker (for example, in the case of mining hotels or shared equipment usage).

  • [Enabled] – Checkbox to enable or disable the Hotel Fee option.
  • [URL] – Address of the pool to which part of the device’s power will be redirected.
  • [User] – Worker name.
  • [Password] – Worker password.
  • [Fee] – Percentage of the device’s power redirected to another pool/worker. Possible values range from 0.1% to 50%.

APPENDIX 1.3 Proxy

The PROXY feature can be useful when it is necessary to redirect the device's traffic through an intermediate server.

In this tab, the address of the proxy server is specified in the format [IP address]:[Port]. For a proxy server that does not require authentication, the User and Password fields must be left empty.

APPENDIX 1.3 AMS

To connect the miner to AMS, you need to login into the BiXBiT AMS control panel and get an API key.

  • In the AMS control panel, click  [ Add Miner ] BiXBiT AMS dashboard Add Miner button
  • Press the [ Next ] button BiXBiT AMS add device wizard Next button
  • Copy the API key   by pressing  [ Copy ] BiXBiT AMS API key field Copy button
  • In the miner's web interface, open Configuration > Miner Configuration, AMS tab
  • In the API Key ①   field, enter the API key obtained from the AMS control panel and click [ Install ] BiXBiT miner AMS monitoring API key install
  • To delete an existing key, click [ Uninstall ] Uninstall BiXBiT AMS API key from miner
